VAT number.. WHY?
I spammed some of you a couple of days ago for some purchase information, sorry about that. To prevent that from happening again we did an overhaul to the activation process, and this might affect you in the future.
So what we did was to require you to enter a company name if you select “We’re a company”. That’s seems pretty fair.. If you can’t remember your company name you might have more serious problems than not beeing able to activate your publication… No just kidding. Nothing is more important than that :)
Now, if you’re not only purchasing as a company but you also happen to reside in Europe we need your VAT number. Otherwise we can’t reverse the VAT charge and you’ll end up paying 25% more for your publication. If you’re having trouble finding your VAT number we can give you a little hint. It looks something like this:
