Happy news to all Pagegangster users. We have just launched a cool new feature making it possible to add videos to your publications.
Our focus has been on making it user friendly enough for everyone to enjoy. Therefore we have developed a Video Editor, a simple interface, where you can manage your videos and just drag and drop them into your publication. It has never been easier to set up the right size and position. Furthermore you can adjust the playback settings or remove the toolbar and background which is really cool if you use alpha transparent videos.
You can either upload your own videos or add YouTube content. We currently support .mp4 and .flv video formats.
You’ll find the Video Editor in the publication settings in your account next to the Link Editor.

All the best, Johan
Today we have launched the new Pagegangster player version 2.0 after months of testing. It has been re-designed but more importantly we have added a bunch of new features.
Among new features worth mentioning is the Video Editor making it possible to add video content to your publications. It’s mobile friendly so your publication can be read on the go on a mobile device or a tablet. We have added a new view mode so now your readers can enjoy fullscreen mode. Furthermore you can customize the start page number, write an introduction text and of course it also includes all the other features from the old player.

We would love to get your feedback. So try to convert a PDF and play around with new settings and features.
Don’t hesistate to contact us if you have any questions!
All the best, Johan
Wow.. 2 languages in 5 days. That must be a new record. We just added Hungarian to the list of available languages in the viewing software.
A big thanks to Frederick for the translation.
Recently I got a lot of questions on how to embed an activated publication so the viewers don’t see the pagegangster.com link in the url field of the browser. There are several ways to hide the domain name or getting some other trick to work. If you want to read more about that, look at some quick tutorials and code snippets on our support section of pagegangster.com. This post will concentrate on just hiding the pagegangster.com domain.
I spammed some of you a couple of days ago for some purchase information, sorry about that. To prevent that from happening again we did an overhaul to the activation process, and this might affect you in the future.
We have got a couple of mails regarding the our stand alone, and how to install it, so I’ll try to guide you through the file structure, and show what you’re able to do once the publication is in place. Please leave a comment if you have any questions or write to info (at) pagegangster.com and I’ll pick it up from there.
Yesterday we added a smart little feature that allows you to track your publication with Google Analytics (If you don’t have an account you can create on for free). In your account you can set a default google tracker, but also override it on individual publications. All you need is a google analytics account and your tracker ID. It looks something like: Read the rest of this entry »
