Who We Are The American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) is the nation’s largest, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to legal issues in the healthcare field with more than 10,000 members. AHLA’s Public Interest mission is to serve as a public resource on selected healthcare legal issues. The Association fulfills this mission by offering non-partisan public policy forums and resources and by publishing the Public Information Series.
