He had been a member since 2004, is preceded in death by his wife Silvia who passed away on June 9, and is survived by his daughter Ann Gaylord who attends Idlewild. Micah Jay Evans who arrived in this world Bill Overbey passed away July 1. He had on June 22 at 3:25 p.m., weighing 7 lbs., 12 ozs. and measuring 21.5 inches. His parents are Jason and Melissa Evans. His father is Idlewild’s Controller and his parents are members of the Family Matters B.F. class. His sister Caroline is 2 1/2. been a member since 1984, is preceded in death by his wife Hildred who passed away in 2001, and is survived by his son Tom Overbey who attends Idlewild. Her parents are IMB missionaries Steve and Marilee Flook who have been on furlough for the past year. They will be returning to the Dominican Republic in August. Her siblings include Stephen Jr., 13, Sarah, 12, Hannah, 9, Samuel, 7, and Mary Margaret, 6. Her grandparents who attend Idlewild are Ted and Mary Manry and Margaret Flook. We wish to thank Pastor Ken Whitten, our pastoral staff, church staff, Bible Fellowship classes, church members, and friends for the prayers and support provided on our behalf during the past 16 months while our granddaughter, Maddie Shaw, waited for a heart transplant. Her death is hard, but we do continue to trust that God is in control of all our lives.
