Worldwide Presence

Extending the reach of the IP UserGroup is seen as the natural progression from the UK version to encompass other areas of the world. Starting in the United States of America and growing into other regions over time with an option to provide language derivatives at a later date. Recent research indicates that like the UK the USA and Canada are experiencing the same reluctance to move forward with IP technology within the Security Industry with a similar attitude and demographic model of the Installer or Integrator. Following the success of the UK IP UserGroup and its educational remit, it is a natural progression to clone the principal and create regional equivalents across the globe as achieved in the USA Each regional IP UserGroup will be considered an individual but associated entity and all regional groups will adhere to the same basic code of practice, offer the same level of service and maintain the same ethical and educational standards.

What are the Membership Catagories?

Affiliate (Company Member) – These members are the lifeblood of the group and recieve the benefits outlined below: Website - IPfocus® / eZine / eNews Affiliate Directory - IP-in-Action LIVE - Network Dinner - Break-out Groups Seminars and Presentations - Conferences - Tabletop Exhibits / Workshops IIPSEC Exhibition (UK). Individual Members (Registrants) – These Members will gain access to ALL educational material, case studies, white papers, news, views and comment. They will also be able to access the bulletin boards and be on the circulation list for the eNewsletters, Technical Bulletins and IPfocus® eZine. – In some cases additional fees will be levied to gain delegate status to seminars and conferences.

How is the IP UserGroup funded?

IP UserGroup® is funded by subscriptions from its Affiliate (Company) Members, The IP-in-Action LIVE™ events and advertising and sponsorship of IPfocus® Magazine & eZine. The Individual Membership is FREE and the Regional versions will follow this model, however, those visiting the site are required to register so as to access specific areas and receive regular eNews and Technical Bulletin communications.
