HOW DO I UPLOAD A PDF FROM MY ACCOUNT?

If you already have an account, it’s easiest to upload your PDF when you are logged in. You can either use the “Upload” button in the menu or the “Quick Upload”. If you use the “Upload” button in the menu, you can choose different settings to customize your PDF (SEO (Search Engine Optimization), languages, skin, speed and quality).

CAN I EDIT MY CONVERTED PUBLICATION?

Yes! Until you activate your publication you can edit, change or overwrite it as many times as you like during the 7 days trial period. Just click on “Edit publication”

HOW DO I SET THE PLAYER LANGUAGES?

Click on “Edit publication”, choose a Player Language and press “Save”.

CAN I CHANGE THE PAGE FLIPPING DIRECTION?

Yes! Click on “Edit publication”, choose Player Turn Direction and press “Save”.

CAN I CHANGE SKIN?

You can change the layout of the viewer by changing its ‘skin’. Click on “Edit publication” and then select a player skin. When you have chosen a skin, you can view an example by clicking on “Show screenshot” or “Preview”. When you are satisfied with the design press “Save”.

WHERE CAN I SEE THE URL FOR MY PUBLICATION?

Click on “Edit publication” and it will become visible next to “Share link”.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE URL FOR MY PUBLICATION?

You will need to embed your publication. Here is a guide on how to embed your publication

CAN I EDIT THE TOOLBAR?

Yes! Click on “Edit publication”, in "Player toolbar" uncheck the buttons for the tools you want to drop and press “Save”.

CAN I PROTECT MY PUBLICATION WITH A PASSWORD?

Yes! Click on “Edit publication” and type in a password of your choice. Retype your password below and press “Save”.

CAN I HOST MY PUBLICATION ON MY OWN SERVER?

Yes, with Standalone version you can host your own publication. Read more about this here: How to use the Standalone

CAN I VIEW MY PUBLICATION OFFLINE?

Yes, with the Standalone verson you can view your publication offline. Here you get all the converted files including executable files (EXE) which let you view your publication offline on a hard disk, CD or USB stick. More about PG Standalone here: How to use the Standalone

CAN MY PUBLICATION BE FOUND BY SEARCH ENGINES LIKE GOOGLE?

Yes, just click on “Edit publication”, check “SEO” and press “Save”

CAN I SEE USER STATISTICS?

Yes, if you have a Google Analytics account. If so just click on “Edit publication”, type in your Google analytics ID and press “Save”. - Click here to get a free Google Analytics account

CAN I CREATE HYPERLINKS IN MY PUBLICATION?

Yes! You can create and edit hyperlinks directly in your converted publication. Click on “Edit publication and then choose the “Link Editor”. If your PDF already contains links, theese will automatically be included to your PG publication.

I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE CONFIRMATION MAIL.

Some confirmation mails are caught in spam filters so begin by checking there. Failing that, heavy traffic can also cause delays, so please allow 30 minutes processing time. If you still haven’t received anything mail us at support@pagegangster.com

MY MAGAZINE IS TURNING SIDEWAYS.

Your PDF probably contained spreads (2 pages on one page), or perhaps the pages are exactly square. Please upload a single paged PDF.

I HAVE TWO PAGES ON EACH PAGE.

You have uploaded a PDF containing spreads (2 pages on one page). Please check that your PDF only has 1 page per page, before you upload.
